Press Brake Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain press brake machines, specifically Amada Press Brakes.
• Set up machines, load materials, and program controls according to specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality output.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.
• Cooky with maintenance teams and machine leads for more complex repairs or scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field preferred.
• Experience operating press brake machinery, with a strong preference for experience with Amada Press Brakes.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in operating and programming press brake controls.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with attention to clarity, quality, and precision.
• Proactive, quick-thinking, problem-solving approach to work.
• Able to use a large variety of hand and power tools with proper safety techniques.
• Able to lift up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance).
• Able to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours throughout the shift.
