Pay Range

$40,500.00 to $51,500.00

Job Responsibilities

• Operate press brakes to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine material layout and cutting sequence.
• Measure and mark materials to ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Set up and adjust press brake machinery to prepare for production runs.
• Inspect workpieces for conformance to specifications and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle and transport heavy metal sheets and components using appropriate lifting techniques.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience in metal fabrication or a similar field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to operate press brake machinery safely and efficiently.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with press brake operation and metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and basic metallurgy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
