Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift
About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location. The core hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.93 per hour with a $0.40 per hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Responsibilities
- Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
- Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
- Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.
- Read work orders to determine specifications.
- Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
- Install, and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior press brake operating experience. Prior assembly experience. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
