Responsibilities
- Fabricating custom parts using a variety of machines including, Press Brake, Pem Machine, Spot Weld, Deburring/Sanding Equipment
- Receive written and verbal instruction on priority of orders
- Receive, checks, and handles raw material from inventory, as needed
- Load, install, and correctly set up the tools to produce parts to print
- Set-up for daily work according to production schedule or verbal instructions
- Works at different workstations as job requires
- Maintain a clean safe work area
- Move finished goods to other inventory or work areas
- Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Able to read and understand flat patterns and prints
- Able to prepare and run complex bend set ups and forming operations
- Capable of using all press brake features which includes but not limited to bending at angles, step bends, proper back gauge transfer between steps, delays etc.
- Experienced and competent using measuring instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers and angle measurement instruments
- Able to read quality documents and drawings
- Follow drawings, understand verbal directions
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Able to tolerate long periods of standing
- Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience in set up and operating CNC press brakes, Trumpf and Amada exposure a plus
- General knowledge of workplace safety, a plus

This position reports to the Production Supervisor - Fabrication and is located in the Production - Fabrication department.
