Press Brake Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

The successful candidate will set up and run a press brake according to provided programs and parameters. They will operate advanced Amada Press Brake with ATC and ensure quality through regular inspections.

Responsibilities

• Review programs and select appropriate raw materials
• Maintain machine performance and adjust settings as necessary
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and document them
• Inspect parts for quality and perform final cleanups
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist in other metal fabrication tasks as needed
• Support maintenance activities as directed
• Use measuring tools such as tape measure and micrometer
• Understand and apply mathematical principles to job requirements
• Maintain high-quality standards to meet customer specifications
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Operate forklifts and hoists as needed

Requirements

• At least 1 year of fabrication/manufacturing experience
• At least 1 year of press brake operation experience

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong blueprint reading and attention to detail
• Safety-conscious attitude and commitment to safety
• Good attendance record
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed

Skills

• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer)
• Basic math skills for job requirements
