Press Assistant
Job Description
PDF Seal is searching for a Press Assistant to contribute to the success of our production of foil lids at our facility in Hauppauge, NY location.
- Maintain the mounting and ink area in a clean and organized manner
- Mixing ink to required specifications
- Mount and de-mount plates
- Move materials and supplies within the facility to support production
- Set up jobs according to specifications of order
- Absorb and assist with press clean up
- Maintain the ink shelf
- Adhere to company GMPs and perform job in a safe manner
- Perform job according to written company standard operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Job Requirements
- High School diploma preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills to follow instructions, preferably in English
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Flexible and organized
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Flexible and dedicated to doing what it takes to get the job done
