President and CEO

About the role

The President & CEO will oversee seven full-time staff and a $1.5 million budget, programs and events, while bringing people together, increasing member value, and amplifying the West Valley’s story with energy, credibility, and purpose.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and strategy for the West Valley region
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization’s goals
• Represent the organization externally and advocate for the West Valley region
• Manage the organization’s finances and ensure fiscal responsibility
• Collaborate with other coalition members to enhance regional initiatives

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities
• Experience in public-private partnerships, business development, advocacy, or related sectors
• Financial management and budgeting experience
• Ability to build and manage a team
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, public policy, communications)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership position
• Experience working in a non-profit or public sector environment
