Presentation Design Manager

Basics

Duration: 6 months
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid in NYC (preferred) or Remote (USA)
Travel: Occasional travel required to support executive and event needs

Top 3 Required Qualifications

• 6 to 8+ years of experience in presentation design, with a strong focus on executive-facing and B2B materials
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides, with a strong portfolio showcasing presentation-driven work
• Proven ability to translate complex concepts, data, and narratives into visually compelling, audience-ready presentations

Other Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation design, visual storytelling, and brand consistency across multiple formats
• Experience supporting executive communications, including high-visibility leadership presentations
• Ability to work across multiple brands while maintaining consistency with unique brand guidelines
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and storytelling principles
• Experience creating and maintaining presentation templates, toolkits, and scalable design systems
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with tight deadlines
• Strong collaboration skills, including working with creative leadership, cross-functional partners, and external designers
• Experience guiding or coordinating freelance or external design support is a plus
• Experience in media, advertising, or digital platforms is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-impact presentations for executive communications, B2B marketing, and client-facing initiatives
• Translate product, marketing, and data-driven content into clear, engaging, and visually compelling narratives
• Partner with creative leadership to execute presentation design requests and maintain high creative standards
• Manage a high volume of presentation work, balancing speed, quality, and accuracy across multiple projects
• Develop and refine presentation templates and reusable assets to support scalability and efficiency
• Ensure consistency across multiple brand identities while adapting designs to meet audience and context needs
• Create visually dynamic presentations for large-scale events, including keynote-style and stage presentations
• Incorporate multimedia elements such as video, motion, and interactive components where appropriate
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging, gather inputs, and ensure timely delivery
• Support coordination of freelance designers and external partners as needed
• Stay current on presentation design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate output
