Responsibilities

Teachers will coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes, plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment, and work directly with children and parents daily.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
• 2 years of previous experience preferred
• Successfully completed state-required experience and training for Early Childhood Teacher qualification
• Knowledge of childcare programming, safety, and emergency first-aid procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations (for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib)
• Maintains background check eligibility

• Dependable and adaptable, enjoys working in teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively

Pay

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour

40 hours per week
