Responsibilities
- Teach age-appropriate lessons using the Balanced Learning curriculum
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on the curriculum
- Assess and document each child's progress
- Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to plan and execute activities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin childcare certifications (preferred)
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Pass a background check
