Preschool Teacher

About the role

The Lawndale Elementary School District has an opening for a Preschool Teacher at Billy Mitchell Elementary School. This position is a 10-month position that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees.

Requirements / Qualifications

• EDUCATION / CREDENTIALS: AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. **Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Possess or be eligible for a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit - You may check the CTC website for the requirements of eligibility
• Valid California Drivers’ License
• Proof of Immunization Verification (Senate Bill 792): Required immunizations; Pertussis, Whooping Cough, Measles and Influenza (flu)
• Proof of TB Clearance
• Valid CPR/First Aide Certification
• Copy of Transcript (Minimum of AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (VALID CPR/First Aide Certification)
• Credential Copy (Possession of or eligibility for a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit)
• Driver's License Copy (VALID State issued Drivers License)
• Health (Proof of Immunization Verification (Senate Bill 792): Required immunizations; Pertussis, Whooping Cough, Measles and Influenza (flu), TB)
