About the role

Cubby Bear LLC in Beaver Dam, WI is hiring a Preschool Teacher to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $15 – $17/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team in providing high-quality early childhood education. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping young learners grow and thrive in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.
• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that align with WMELS and meet the diverse needs of our students.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development by providing positive reinforcement and role modeling strong interpersonal skills.
• Develop and maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Observe and document student progress to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
• Encourage positive behavior and model strong interpersonal skills to promote a positive classroom culture.

Requirements

• State teaching certification (Required if no Associate's Degree)
• OR
• An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Required)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
• CPR/First Aid certification

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a childcare or preschool setting is an asset, but not a requirement for this role.
