Join Acorn Academy LLC in Madison, NJ as a Preschool Teacher working with Preschool (3–5). The role calls for the appropriate professional qualifications and offers $17.50 – $20/Hr to qualified childcare professionals.

What You'll Do

• Cookordinate and implement the Creative Curriculum
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience in a classroom
• Strong Oral and written communication skills in English and basic computer skills
• Able to work well with others and to foster a team environment
• A strong understanding of early child development
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
• Must clear full background check and pass health screening
• The ability to lift approximately 10-40 pounds is needed when caring for a child
• The ability to sit, stand, squat, walk for extended time outdoors...being able to communicate and work with children at eye level no matter what position that might entail.

Nice to Have

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or working on a degree in the field
• Reliable means of transportation
