Preschool Teacher
Acelero Learning is seeking a socially conscious, dedicated Preschool Teacher to support early childhood education programs and create positive outcomes for children and families. This role focuses on shaping foundational experiences for children ages 3 to 5 within our Head Start program, delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
About the role
As a Preschool Teacher, you will nurture responsive teacher-child relationships through the CLASS™ framework, cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment, and deliver age-appropriate, standards-aligned instruction. You will collaborate with an Assistant Teacher, families, and an interdisciplinary team to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth. This position emphasizes continuous professional development and a team culture focused on reflection, learning, and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Foster meaningful interactions using the CLASS™ framework to promote emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Create and maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
- Implement a research-based curriculum aligned with developmentally appropriate goals to support school readiness.
- Conduct ongoing child assessments to individualize instruction and track developmental progress across all learning domains.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support all children, including those with special needs, dual language learners, and varying developmental levels.
- Engage families as partners, building strong, respectful relationships to support learning at school and home.
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and reflective practices, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education – or a degree in another field with at least six (6) completed courses in Early Childhood Education.
- Hands-on experience teaching preschool-aged children, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse developmental needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with children, families, and team members.
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with co-teachers, families, and support staff.

Pay
$41,912 per year.
