Core Duties
- Create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment.
- Implement classroom activities aligned with the Education Plan.
- Perform teaching activities according to Head Start performance standards.
- Assume a lead role in working with diverse groups of children.
- Provide meal assistance and other assigned activities.
- Develop daily lesson and curriculum plans.
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in early childhood or related field, or an Associate's degree in early childhood or related field.
- Master's in Early Childhood Education (MA EEC) Lead Teacher certification required.
- Bi-lingual in Portuguese, Arabic, and Spanish is helpful but not required.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check before employment.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- A valid Massachusetts state driver’s license is required.
