Preschool Soccer Coach: Mornings

Soccer Shots is a youth development program that introduces soccer to toddlers and preschoolers in a fun, non-competitive, and creative way. You get to provide the highlight of a child's week! Don’t know much about soccer? No problem! While it is helpful to have some knowledge of soccer, it is not essential.

About the role

Soccer Shots Coaches/Instructors are passionate about working with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary students. Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours available.

Schedule

• Classes between the hours of 9:30 a.m.–Noon, Monday–Saturday
• Pick your schedule: coaches turn in schedule availability and are assigned classes that fit their schedule
• Schedules are consistent: you will work classes at the same time and location each week for the whole season (7–10 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Engaging children ages 2–6
• Teaching groups of 8–10 kids for a 25–40 minute class
• Arriving to class on time and attending all scheduled classes
• Utilizing provided class curriculum to teach soccer, designed by education specialists
• Keeping accurate attendance and completing after-session report
• All equipment needed for classes is provided

Requirements

• Reliable and responsible
• Able to connect with, be patient with, and motivate children
• Excellent communicator
• Energetic, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Creative, thinking on their feet
• Safety-conscious
• Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license
• Able to perform the physical demands of the position: reasonable level of fitness is expected
• CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire (class fee will be reimbursed)
