Preschool Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots Twin Cities is the premier children’s soccer experience, focused on positively impacting kids ages 2–8 through the game of soccer. Our engaging curriculum introduces children to soccer in a fun, age-appropriate way — helping them build confidence, teamwork, and character both on and off the field.

We’re looking for energetic, reliable, and passionate coaches who want to make a difference in young lives! Whether you’re an athlete, teacher, student, or simply love working with kids, we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Coach youth soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
• Deliver an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
• Build confidence, teamwork, and character in young players
• Work at various locations including childcare centers, recreation centers, parks, schools, and soccer clubs across the North and East Metro

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Prior experience in coaching, youth sports, or early childhood education
• Positive attitude and passion for teaching kids
• Consistent weekly availability

Pay

$23/hour

Schedule

We’re especially looking for coaches who can work during our busiest and most impactful times:

• Mornings: 8:45 AM – 11:30 AM
• Evenings: 4:45 PM – 7:30 PM
• Saturdays: 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.

  • Tier 1 – 15–19 sessions/week (≈10–13 hrs/week)
  • Tier 2 – 20–34 sessions/week (≈14–22 hrs/week): Includes mileage reimbursement (up to $75/month), health insurance contribution (up to $75/month), 5 PTO days, and CPR certification
  • Tier 3 – 35+ sessions/week (≈22–25 hrs/week): Includes mileage reimbursement (up to $150/month), health insurance contribution (up to $150/month), 10 PTO days, and CPR certification
• Sign-on bonus for new coaches:
  • $100 after your first 3 months
  • $200 after 6 months
• Free uniforms

Locations

We operate year-round across the North and East Metro, including: Coon Rapids, Hugo, Blaine, Mounds View, Shoreview, Lino Lakes, White Bear Lake, Fridley, Stillwater, Woodbury, Maplewood, and surrounding areas.
