Preschool Resource Teacher (Floater)

Responsibilities

• Assisting office and staff with daily activities
• Providing support in classrooms as needed
• Cleaning and sanitization
• Kitchen duties as needed
• Assisting with lunch and snack breaks
• Maintaining a flexible, positive, and fun attitude
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations
• Continuing education as required by Child Care Licensing and GSI

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Proven experience in a licensed early childhood facility
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Highly motivated, takes direction well, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Follows state childcare licensing rules and regulations
• Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to safely handle children during programs and emergencies
