Preschool Kitchen Assistant

About the role

Enjoy mornings? So do we. Some of the most important moments in a preschooler's day happen around the table. As a Kitchen Assistant at Kamaʻāina Kids, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious meals, keep our kitchen running smoothly, and lend a hand wherever it's needed—all while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule and working alongside a supportive preschool team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve catered breakfasts, lunches, and snacks
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for each day
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Help teachers with simple classroom tasks when extra hands are needed
• Pitch in wherever the team needs support

Requirements

• Dependable and enjoy staying organized
• Like working in a clean, active environment
• Enjoy being around young children
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Take pride in helping others

Qualifications

• Family-style preschool kitchen
• Steady pace in a supportive setting

Pay

$17–$18.50/hour to start + $500 New Hire Bonus

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM
