Preschool Assistant

About This Role

This Preschool Assistant opportunity at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH & PRESCHOOL serves Infant / Toddler (0–2), Preschool (3–5) and requires a willingness to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, with employer support. Based in Collierville, TN, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.

What You'll Do

• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of materials
• Follow Center policies
• Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation of children
• Supervise snack time, gross motor play on the playground or in the gym, facilitate play in the centers
• Help ensure smooth transition from the Preschool to home
• Convey any classroom information to parents upon pick-up.
• Maintain professional relationships with parents and other staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least a High School Graduate and 21 years old
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for up to three hours
• Must be active enough to keep pace with small children
• Must be of the Christian Faith

Benefits

None required but we will support obtaining CDA.

This Preschool Assistant role pays $15 to $16/Hr.
