Preschool Instructional Assistant

About the role

The Lawndale Elementary School District has 3 openings for Preschool Instructional Assistant. This position is a 10-month positions that accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Candidates should have at least one year of experience working with preschool age children.
• Possession of a valid California Drivers License, CPR/First Aid certification, and TB clearance is also required.
• You will be required to pass an academic assessment test (conducted/provided by LESD).
• Certification (Child Development Permit)
• Copy of Transcript (12 Units in Early Childhood Education or AA Degree in Early Childhood Education)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Driver's License Copy
• Other (Proof of Immunization Verification (Required immunizations; Pertussis, Whooping Cough, Measles and Influenza (flu))Proof of HS Graduation (Proof of HS Graduation or equivalent)
