Dishwashers are key to a smooth restaurant service. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils and other kitchen equipment. Sort and rinse dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send though dish machineCarry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before deliveringChange dish water in dish machine as necessaryWash pots, pans and trays by handRemove trash and recyclables to dumpsterSet up or break down dishwashing areaClean and roll/unroll matsFill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutionsSweep/mop floorsSweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpsterConduct general restaurant cleaning as directedWipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dryNotify a manager any time the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperaturesOther duties as directed Requirements Must be able to carry 50lbs frequentlyMust be able to climb stairsMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to work on weekends and some holidaysAbility to maintain composure during stressful, high volume timesAbility to work in a kitchen environment Competitive pay and benefits offered.
