About the role

The Preschool Classroom Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow through play-based learning activities. The teacher will also assist in implementing the curriculum and ensuring that all children meet developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities
• Provide individualized attention to each child’s needs
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive classroom environment
• Assess children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months
• Experience working with young children preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check

Skills

• Excellent observational and assessment skills
• Knowledge of child development and learning theories
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
