Preschool Classroom Assistant 3rd Person

The Preschool offers a supportive and engaging environment for both students and staff. As a Classroom Assistant 3rd Person, you will play a vital role in assisting the teacher with implementing child activities, setting up the classroom, and ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with children aged 3 to 5
• Work approximately 32.5 hours per week during 175-185 school-year days, following the school calendar. This includes 15 minutes before and after class time for daily preparation.
• Summer training sessions are also required.
• Assist the teacher with implementing child activities
• Set up and maintain an organized classroom environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students
• Adhere to program regulations and guidelines
• Provide coverage as needed for other duties or positions

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be willing to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential if offered. This training is paid for by CenClear.
• Working phone in your home
• Documented good physical health
• Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire:
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
• FBI Criminal History
• Mandated Reporting Certificate
