Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers for our Preschool program at our StuyTown/Murray Hill location. At The Goddard School, we prioritize our faculty's happiness and well-being, treating teachers like family in a hands-on, supportive environment.

About the role

This brand-new, state-of-the-art preschool facility features:

• 13 classrooms
• Classrooms equipped with phones, Apple iPads, and Bluetooth speakers
• Fully stocked supplies room, including arts & crafts
• On-site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown
• Face recognition for school entry

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
