About the role
The role involves assisting preschool teachers in managing classroom activities, supervising children during playtime, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing daily lesson plans
- Supervise children during playtime and group activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Pass a background check and health clearance
