Preschool Assistant Teacher

About the role

Spend your days with bright and energetic kiddos in your role as Preschool Assistant Teacher at our partner daycare and preschool.

Responsibilities

• Care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years
• Engage in hands-on activities based on the children's interests and skills
• Ensure the safety and engagement of children within your care
• Work with children of all walks of life and backgrounds

Requirements

• Available at least 3 days per week (M--F) to work 4 - 9 hour shifts between 9am - 5:30pm
• Genuinely enjoy children and are an engaging, creative, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and similar activities
• Bring at least 1 year of childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, teacher or similar responsible caring

Qualifications

• Can provide our team with 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference
• At least 18 years of age or older
