Preschool Assistant Teacher

About This Role

We're seeking an assistant for our 3's classroom at our Christian preschool in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate would be available to work 8am-3pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays, and potentially our After Care program from 3-4pm.

What You'll Do

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behaviors and activities for ages 3-4 is essential
• Classroom management of approximately 10-12 children, ages 3-4, is a key responsibility
• The assistant will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times
• Activities will be regularly updated, and communication with parents will be maintained via the Brightwheel app

Requirements

• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card is required
• We're willing to conduct a background check on the successful candidate
• We're a faith-based Christian preschool and would prefer to hire someone who shares our faith
• At least 6 months of professional experience working with children and/or education in Early Childhood (or a related area) is necessary

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is a desirable addition to the candidate's skillset
