As a Child Care Teacher, you'll play a vital role in fostering children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Adapt learning experiences to meet the individual needs of each child and encourage positive social interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom while ensuring active supervision at all times
- Collaborate with families and team members to support child development and maintain effective communication
Requirements
- Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or other education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Teaching, or a related field
- Current First Aid, Adult/Child/Infant CPR, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Must pass required background checks, TB test, and obtain a Food Handler Permit
- One to two years of experience working with children ages birth to six years required

Schedule
- Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Start and end times may vary based on classroom needs and program requirements
- Year-round program operating on a 247-day calendar
- Flexibility to support classroom coverage and changing program needs is expected
