Preschool 1s Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified lead teacher for our 1’s class, with a regular schedule from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Availability to begin in September, with training started upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit a warm, friendly, caring attitude toward children and parents
• Supervise a classroom aide to assist with daily tasks
• Perform all duties associated with the lead teacher role in the 1’s classroom

Requirements

• A physical is required for clearance to work
• Background checks and fingerprinting as stated by the TN State Licensing Board

Nice to have

• Additional skills or certifications in areas such as education or child development
