Presales Systems Engineer (Fall 2026 Co-Op)
About the role
The Presales System Engineer (Co-Op) assists Systems Engineers in various aspects of their work. Starting with small project assignments, responsibilities gradually increase as the co-op progresses through the program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of project assignments
- Work closely with Communication Systems Engineers to design and implement radio communication solutions
- Support State and Local Government Public Safety infrastructure and subscriber design and implementation projects in the Southeast Region
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Prioritization in Wireless, Electrical, System or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Excellent communications skills and ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment
- Experience working with customers desirable
- Experience/Knowledge in radio systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave, and/or networking desirable
- Experience/Knowledge of communications networks (MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP) desirable
- Certifications through CCNA, CompTIA, and/or Amateur Radio/ HAM desirable
