Presales Solutions Engineer - Network

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Network to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will partner closely with account teams to shape network and data center solutions that align with customer goals and support new business growth. The position requires a strong technical advisory mindset, with the ability to translate complex infrastructure needs into practical recommendations for clients and sales stakeholders. You will also build trusted relationships with OEMs and partners while helping drive solution strategy across the pipeline. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer data center environments
• Design tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with customer objectives
• Maintain technical relationships with OEMs and partners
• Provide technical education and product training to sales teams and clients
• Act as a trusted IT advisor for customers and account executives
• Manage the solution practice pipeline to drive new business acquisition
• Identify technology opportunities across various domains

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience with Cisco networking products
• Familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)
• Intermediate knowledge of technical network solutions
• Experience with software-defined networking technologies
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent preferred

Pay

$120,000 – $230,000 annually
