Prepared Foods Team Leader

About the role

Caraluzzi's Markets is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to manage and lead culinary operations in our Prepared Foods department. Our kitchens produce restaurant-quality entrees, appetizers, side dishes, rotisserie items, and an extensive soup bar, along with a comprehensive holiday and party catering menu program.

Responsibilities

• Lead associates by example
• Teach and motivate associates on proper recipe production methods
• Forecast customer needs and plan production accordingly
• Merchandise food so that it is visually appealing
• Interact frequently with customers and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain constant communications with associates and store team members
• Ensure safe food handling and safety guidelines are followed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of applicable experience required, with some management experience
• Track record of excellent customer service
• Strong culinary skills
