Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation including cleaning, grinding, and shot-blasting concrete for epoxy application
- Support structural repair work by injecting epoxy resins into cracks and joints
- Measure and mix epoxy materials (resins and hardeners) according to required ratios
- Apply coatings including base layers, decorative finishes, and protective topcoats using rollers, squeegees, or spray equipment
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as grinders, vacuums, and injection systems
- Transport, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment across the job site
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with safety standards
- Follow all jobsite procedures and supervisor instructions
- Work on your feet for extended periods and move throughout the job site daily
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier items with assistance)
- Perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing ladders or stairs
- Use hands and tools to handle materials and complete repetitive tasks
- Maintain balance and coordination while working in elevated or confined areas
- Work in physically demanding conditions with continuous movement and manual labor
Qualifications
- Understanding of epoxy materials, curing processes, and environmental impact on application
- Experience with concrete repair, coatings, epoxy flooring, or similar construction processes preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, PPE requirements, and safe handling of chemicals
- Experience operating specialized equipment such as grinders, vacuums, or injection tools preferred
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and active construction environments
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, including heat
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-focused mindset
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Prior construction or general labor experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bilingual in Mandarin or Spanish is required
