Responsibilities
- Completes opening duties according to restaurant standards.
- Prepares all side items for service.
- Maintains knowledge of equipment maintenance and usage; ensures proper and safe operation.
- Inspects and organizes the line and workstations; resolves any issues promptly.
- Notifies the Kitchen Manager of shortages and requests assistance during busy periods.
- Aids other team members in their duties and tasks.
- Minimizes waste and maintains food cost controls.
- Breaks down workstation and completes closing duties according to restaurant standards.
- Maintains sanitation and health regulations.
- Adheres to appearance and uniform standards.
- Complies with all restaurant standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Cannot have been convicted of a violent felony crime.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Prioritization, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Calmness and problem-solving ability under pressure.
- Ability to meet production schedules and guest food order timeliness.
- Transportation and handling of goods and food items.
- Work in hot, noisy, and sometimes cramped environments.
- Handling and knowledge of various products and ingredients.

- Operation, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
