About the role
Hendler Family Brewing Company is reopening its newly renovated taproom at Patriot Place, launching a full kitchen program alongside the refreshed space. We’re looking for Dishwashers who bring a great attitude, take pride in behind-the-scenes work, and help keep our kitchen moving smoothly. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape something new in a growing space with a team that genuinely cares about doing things well.
Responsibilities
- Prep work: wash, chop, portion, label, and store ingredients; assist in preparing sauces, dressings, batters, and other foundational items; follow food safety procedures for storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO); maintain prep lists and communicate completion status with the Chef/Kitchen Manager
- Kitchen operations: arrive on time and in uniform; keep prep areas clean, stocked, and organized; assist with receiving and storing deliveries; support line cooks during peak hours by restocking or preparing needed items; step in to assist dishwashers during rushes or when coverage is needed; wash prep tools, cutting boards, and equipment throughout the shift
- Cleanliness & organization: maintain sanitation standards throughout all prep areas; assist with deep cleaning tasks as assigned; help with end-of-shift breakdown and storage
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- No prior experience required — training provided
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused during high-volume shifts
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to jump in where needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced environments
- Night, weekend, and holiday availability required
- Reliable transportation to and from the taproom
