Prep Cook

Position Overview

The Plaza at Punchbowl is looking for an ambitious Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes for our residents. You will perform routine tasks such as setting up work stations, ingredients, and foods that can be prepared according to specified menus. A great prep cook will be quick, diligent and willing to improve on the job. The ideal candidate is team oriented and is able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve regular and modified diets to residents in accordance with Hawaii Administrative Rules, Department of Health, Title 11, Chapter 12, Food Establishment Sanitation and Hawaii Administrative Rules, Department of Health, Title 11, Chapter 90, Assisted Living Facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service or related field preferred
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines

Pay

Pay starts at $17.00 per hour
