About The Americano
The Americano is a modern Italian-inspired steakhouse. Our menu blends classic Italian tradition with contemporary creativity, featuring handmade pastas, prime steaks, and seasonally driven dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily prep tasks, including washing, chopping, portioning, and labeling ingredients.
- Assist in preparing sauces, stocks, dressings, and other key components.
- Follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines with accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized prep station in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support chefs and line cooks by stocking stations and communicating prep needs.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating product.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen/prep experience preferred but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
