Prep Cook

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in Provo, UT. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
• Following prep lists created by chefs.
• Measuring ingredients and seasonings and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.
• Preparing simple dishes, such as entrees or salads.
• Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.

Qualifications

• Experience as a prep cook preferred
• Safe food handling techniques are required
• Ability to read and understand recipes
• Work in a team environment
• Work flexible shifts
• Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
