Concept Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Bartender to work at Thirsty Lion. Responsibilities

  • Able to obtain a valid food service permit and alcohol service permit.
  • Consistently arrives to work as scheduled, prepared to assume shift responsibilities, well-groomed, and in proper uniform.
  • Prepares section so that it is ready at the scheduled time.
  • Knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus, specials, soups, seasonal beers, and drinks prior to greeting the first table.
  • Follows all steps of service for each table as outlined in the department training manual.
  • Accurately and timely enters all food and beverage orders into the POS with minimal errors.
  • Takes an unsolicited approach to teamwork by helping other employees to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Follows all Company accounting policies and procedures regarding cash, credit card, gift card transactions, discounts, promos, and employee meals.
  • Able to perform basic mathematics.
  • Engages guests, coworkers, and managers with a positive, friendly, and professional approach during all interactions.
  • Ensures each guest is taken care of from entering the building to leaving the building.
  • Knowledgeable of the Company’s concepts, products, services, current promotions, and recurring events.
  • Willingly follows direction from management and supervisors, including additional requests for side work or cleaning.
  • Follows State Liquor laws and Company policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages and enforcement of ordinances and laws.
  • Attends all ongoing food, bar, or service trainings when scheduled.
  • Complies with and supports all policies set forth by the Company employee handbook and department training manual.
  • Keeps china/glass breakage to a minimum.
  • Prepares all alcoholic drinks in accordance with Company recipes and standards, consistently using a jigger.
  • Ensures liquor loss is minimal.
  • Rotates and stocks all coolers with the proper products and amounts required.
  • Keeps alcohol storage areas locked and secure.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of bar set-up and closing.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to work a variety of scheduled shifts, including late hours, holidays, and weekends, based on the needs and volume of the operation.
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Demonstrates good time management and multitasking skills.
  • Follows Company and state safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment.
