Essential Job Functions

• Prepares fresh menu items: salads, soups, sandwiches, and wraps with care and consistency.
• Chops, slices, and dices fresh fruit and vegetables with care.
• Upholds top-tier food safety, sanitation, and storage standards.
• Helps receive and organize fresh ingredient deliveries.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and inspiring prep space.
• Collaborates closely with our Culinary Team to ensure smooth, high-quality service.

Essential Skills And Experience

• A true passion for food, people, and an eagerness to keep learning.
• Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of the team.
• Must be highly motivated, hard working, and have an enthusiastic attitude.
• Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must have problem solving skills, be flexible, creative, and able to adapt to change when required.
• Current Food Handler Certification (Basic Food Safety) - preferred, but not required.
• Must have a reliable transportation and report to work in a timely manner.

Pay And Benefits

• Pay starts at $15.00 per hour.
• Wage increase available if exceeding requirements.

Requirements

• Must wear closed-toe, slip resistant shoes.
• Must be comfortable with repetitive motions.
• Must have a high energy level, be self-motivated, and a natural troubleshooter.
• Has a passion for food and using the best ingredients.
• Adheres to all SC Department of Agriculture requirements including following rules of cooling, time control of temperature and storing food properly.
• Communicates by Homebase and email.
• Is an active part of the Rosewood Market Team, adhering to high standards of service, quality, and presentation.
• Must stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
