Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Prepare basic sauces, dressings, and other components as directed.
- Label, date, and store food items properly to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized prep station and assist with overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Absorb and communicate effectively with kitchen team to ensure timely preparation.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and reach overhead.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
