Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with the preparation of basic sauces, dressings, and other kitchen components as directed by the culinary team
- Properly label, date, and store food items to ensure freshness, organization, and reduced waste
- Maintain a clean, organized prep station and support overall kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times
- Assist with receiving deliveries and storing products following proper handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to support efficient and timely food preparation
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and reach overhead.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
