About the role
As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes in a professional kitchen setting.Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Assemble and plate dishes ready for service
- Ensure all food items are fresh and within safe handling temperatures
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Valid driver’s license (if required for transportation)
