About the role
As a prep cook at Olive Garden in Cabot, AR, you will play a crucial part in preparing and cooking various dishes that contribute to the authentic Italian dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook soups, sauces, pastas, and lasagnas according to recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are prepared safely and hygienically.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols to protect both team members and guests.
Requirements
- Strong passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Skills
- Proficiency in following recipes and instructions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with others.
