About the role
As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes in accordance with recipes and food safety guidelines.Responsibilities
- Prepare soup, sauce, pasta, and lasagna according to recipes
- Assemble dishes accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all food items are prepared and served safely and hygienically
- Follow established sanitation protocols to maintain a clean work environment
- Support kitchen staff in meeting production goals
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license may be required for some locations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
