About the role
As a Prep Cook at Olive Garden in the Dimond Mall location in Anchorage, AK, you will play a crucial part in preparing and cooking various dishes that contribute to the authentic Italian dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook soups, sauces, pastas, and lasagnas according to recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are prepared safely and meet the restaurant's high standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Help maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Support the team in achieving guest satisfaction through exceptional food preparation.
Requirements
- Strong passion for Italian cuisine and food preparation.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and cooking instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and its proper use.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
