About the role
As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes in support of the kitchen team.Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Assemble and plate dishes ready for cooking
- Ensure all food items are fresh and prepared correctly
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support the kitchen team in meeting production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Valid driver’s license (if required for transportation)
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Skills
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques
- Ability to read and understand recipes
