About the role
As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes in accordance with recipes.Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes
- Ensure all food items are cooked to the correct temperature and quality
- Follow strict safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Support kitchen staff with tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (if required for transportation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and tools
