Core Responsibilities
- Cleaning, peeling, chopping, and slicing fruits, vegetables, and meats.
- Setting up workstations with all necessary ingredients and utensils.
- Measuring ingredients and preparing basic sauces, dressings, or accompaniments.
- Organizing stock and notifying chefs of low inventory.
- Adhering to food safety guidelines, sanitizing stations, and washing kitchen equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service role.
- Understanding of food sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to follow recipes.
Pay
$17-$22 per hour including tips (based on experience; potential to earn more if you learn multiple roles).
